The dark rum provides a rich, molasses-like flavor, while the light rum adds a subtle sweetness and a hint of tropical fruit. The lime juice and orange Curaçao add a tangy and citrusy note to the drink, while the orgeat syrup adds a nutty and almond-like flavor.
